Leaves turn into dragonfly wings

The green overlapped with blue  photocopy of the leaf monoprint I made reminded me of a dragon fly. More specifcaly reminded me of the perfectly preserved dragonfly my son had found in our garden a few weeks earlier,no doubt a victim of our cat. I was saving it to maybe preserve in resin. I brought in into college and Julian showed me how to make a scan of it, the colour and details showed up really well and reminded me of samples of insects in natural history museums. Ive always really liked the nature illustration books and would like to explore this type of fabricated nature in more detail.
