Stained glass inspired papercut wing

Inspired by the stained glass of st Marys I wanted to further my wing form experiments by make a paper cut wing. I used black paper and  sweet wrappers to give colour and translucency to parts of the wing.
This artist makes from sweet wrappers, this work is a cabinet full of tiny goblets.

The coulrs were bright but due to the nature of the material it had a bit of a primary school arts feel and was not really the feel i want for this project as I prefer more natural, organic looking materials in this case.
I like the look of the monotone wing next to the photogram. Its become quite an abstract image when out of context..
