In anticipation of life drawing sessions I've been looking at the figure works of some contemporary artists to inspire me in my approach.
These works are by Contemporary, German Artist Andrea Emde in ink and water colour crayon from a two different collections of thier work titled " figure serie" and ""face serie"
I like the seemingly simplicity of these torso paintings. The form of the lines gives a lot of information and I like the subtle texture of the ink/ water marks, a medium I really enjoy using.
I like that the series of faces and figures as two separate yet inter related works.
