My lino cut came out with quite an art deco feel. very stylised ladies and circular, symetrical motifs are quite a reaccuring feature of art deco. again exploring the idea as a human/ woman as decoration but looking at the meaning and symbolism behind this

| I like the art deco, vouge covers this is aimed as stylish women, concerned with fashion as as usual selling an impossible vision for a woman to aspire to. saying that I really like these images as illustrations, I like the use of a circular motif to frame the figure in the picture. |
