My mums 70th Birthday is coming up. I was tasked with collecting some old photographs to print out for her party. Old photographs are a black hole of time for me as I get totally lost in them!
We have been looking into photography across the projects, however I like the idea of using/ manipulating old photos for this project. There is nothing more human than connection and what makes us us if its not our memories?
Below are some family photos that are so familiar to me that I have formed memories around them as most of them were taken when I was a baby/ young child or before I was born, certainly before I can remember.
I think the idea of memories is fascinating with so much scope for creating art, My only doubt really is that its a very broad project and takes me away from a lot of my research, will I have enough time to pursue this and do the idea justice? Or should I come back to it as part of a bigger/ longer project?
