trialing the lino cuts on fabric to see how it looks and checking techniques before moving onto printing large scale on some curtains I brought for the project. I've just used the water based ink here and it works well with fabric though I'm aware it's not colour fast/ washable, which doesn't matter for this project as its for an indoor instalation. However for something washable there are alternate fabric inks available that are fixable with a hot iron which would be more suitable for wearable/ usable projects.
