Materials: Chinese rice paper draught

As part of the artist book binding course I was introduced to Chinese rice paper. I've never used this before so am curious to see how it responds to different mediums. The book binding course suggests printing on it images from ink jet printer. Its traditionally used for calligraphy and inkwork paintings.

It has a beautiful texture, like very fine cotton, it's very soft and has a translucency.

I love the texture and the effect of laying over work to give a ghost image. I'd like to combine lots of textures within my sample book as reference and to give a feeling of collection, just as a place is a collection of many elements. I want to capture the idea of St Marys within these samples into a book.
