The lace industry was a big part of Ilkeston's past and as we are fresh from a project about Nottingham lace this obviously stood out to me while visiting the exhibition. It would be something Id like to include in this project but I'd like to move into a different direction in terms of areas of research for the main part of the project as I feel my lace inspiration/ interest is running a little low.
