Structure of industry

A large part of the heritage and landscape is due to the structure of industry and the trails left behind.

This is an area I'd like to pursue. From a visual perspective using maps and  photographs of the trails, canals and railways that were used to transport the fruits of industry away from the town.

Also looking at the contrast of industry against the landscape, the history and pride and what, if anything, has replaced this golden age of industry in the area.

Another area of interest is the rewilding of these sites and the protection of special places. This area boasts a beautiful landscape that has embraced its industrial scars.

As an extension also looking at folk art/ landscape art and wildlife to compliment the folk style of the museum.  Structured Storytelling through image.

Images below are taken from an information leaflet from the museum about Bennerley Viaduct.

I'ts very informative and providing me with lots of visual information about the area as well as local wildlife and history.
