Printing with wood.

 In theme with working with found d natural materials. I did some contact prints using old wooden panels. Wanting to get a relife print of the woid grain.

I used bright colours keeping g in the folk costume/ celebration theme.

I got some good detail but I'm not super kean on the outcome. The compositions are unbalanced and I don't really line the colours.

I think it would work better with more muted tones. It looks quite child like and a nature but not in the folk art way i was after.

I continued to paint the wooden panels on both sides and believed them with gold leaf. These look better than the prints and gave a curious way about them. Maybe to be used as part of a costume or sculpture further if that's how the project develops
