First Sketches and Ideas

Last autumn when I was out on one of many lock down walks in Blidworth woods where my friend Karen spotted this beautiful and huge Fly agaric. It was one of the first things that came to mind when I read the project brief as its an image we are all so familiar with in a stylised, story book way but quite unusual to spot out and about, for a city dweller, at least. 

To me its a link to the child like, magical world of nature and something I want to explore within this project.
